- Whatcha Do?
- I sling fresh produce to independent restaurants as a Sales Rep for a local company, giving small farmers a chance to sell their food in bulk to all the great places to eat in Asheville. Plus I take care of my 3 kids, Prizm, Aurora, and Izabella, which occupies most of my time that I'm not working.
- Favorite books?
- Anything by Hunter S. Thompson or Tom Robbins, also I really dig metaphysical works by people like HP Blavatsky, Ram Dass, William Walker Atkinson, etc., plus I love all the beatnik heads. Favorite Books include Gulliver's Travels, Stranger in a Strange Land, Pi in the Sky, The Tao of Pooh, Confederacy of Dunces (HILARIOUS BOOK), Women (Bukowski), Catch-22, you know all that kind'a stuff.... ;)
- Favorite Movies?
- Team America: World Police, White Men Can't Jump, 12 Monkeys, Monster's Ball, Princess Bride, Kinsey, The Wizard of Oz, Blade Runner, Half-Baked, George Carlin Live stand-up, ....I don't know, there's so many I've watched I can't remember what's good....
- Who or what influences your work?
- Social injustice, the breaking down of the System, and the Infinite One.
Rough, but good'nuff
There's a vision within that transcends
All the physical illusions of limitations,
Separations, beginnings and ends...
But few have awakened to this realization
Trapped in this neo-matrix of complication
Most are content in the prison of their delusion
They seek nothing higher than mere amusement
Satisfied w/ their myths of religious traditions
Unaware of their Universal Power Within
To ascend beyond the restrictions of this existence
Into a higher state of God-Consciousness
With an ever-expanding Sphere of Influence
Enabling one to master their own Peace
Preferably with a poetical release-
The cure for the civilized dis-ease
Is an awareness that the Power resides inside
Like the Force to a Jedi
Found within you and I
...but how can one tap into this Source?
Where is the key to unlock this Door?
Is there REALLY so much more?
Absolutely...
The answer's found deep in meditation
With a dedication to Awakening
All half-truths must be forsaken
And the Eternal brought into clear focus
Or else all, it would seem, is hopeless
We must re-examine our motives
The desires that set us in motion
As we be floatin on the Ocean of Experience
Like a Haitian, we gotta take it serious
Cuz it's more than life or death, it's Everything
A whole Universe of Unlimited Potential
So let's get back to what's Essential...
