I agree with President's Obama's move to work on the economy. Our housing market and current banking needs some redirection. I was, am, and will always be against our current war in Iraq. There are too many young adults whose lives are being negatively impacted by our fight. Our armed forces targeted young and low social economic teenagers for enlistment. I was offended when I saw an advertisement for the army on my local school bus. The enticement of college funding for a life is not an equal trade. That however is another topic. Aside from the obvious I would begin legislation toward legalizing marijuana. Research proves it is non addictive and no more harmful than nicotine in a cigarette. Legalizing would allow for taxation and better regulations. It is one of the easiest street drugs to purchase. Regulation will not stop children 11 -14 years old getting it but our detention centers are over crowded, public officers are short handed, and economy is simply stressed. Take a step back and put the cush in the air.
